N’ICE ICE GLASSES
Wine at the perfect temperature for the world of restaurants
The world of restaurants is famous for for its excellent food and impeccable service, but also and above all for the excellent wine proposal, with great wines from prestigious wineries that accompany the menus of the restaurants with harmony and perfect balance.
However, what distinguishes a restaurant of excellence from an "average" restaurant is the attention to even the smallest details. One of the most important, for example, is the serving temperature of the wine.
Because, however good the proposed wine may be, its quality will never be 100% enhanced if the temperature at which it is served is not suitable and does not reach its ideal degree: 6-8ºC for sparkling wines and Champagne, 8ºC for young dry whites, about 10-12ºC for mature and structured dry whites, semi-dry and dry rosé wines, 6-8 ° C for sweet wines and so on.
If the ideal temperature is not respected, there is a risk of making the aromas of the wine less perceptible and the flavor decidedly attenuated, as well as acting on the solubility of carbon dioxide and on the final perception of the tasting.
Therefore, to really appreciate a wine it is not only necessary to keep it in ideal conditions, but also and above all to serve it adequately.
How to get the perfect wine temperature?
First of all, it is important to keep the bottle in a place that has the desired climate, so that when it comes time to serve it you do not have to cause sudden changes in temperature.
As we explained before, some wines must be served very cold to release all their excellent taste and flavor: for this reason many restaurants keep them in the refrigerator and then serve them in a bucket with water and ice or, before bringing them to the table, they wrap the bottle in a wet cloth.
These are "hasty" and not very scenographic methods that require time: a bottle of wine at room temperature (21°C) needs more than an hour and a half in the fridge to reach 12°C at which it is served, or 10 minutes in the bucket of water and ice.
N’ICE meets the needs of Italian restaurateurs and takes wine tasting to a higher level
With the new N’ICE professional glass chillers, it is possible to cool wine glasses using the CO2 thermal shock quickly, accurately and aesthetically with great effect. N’ICE machines lower the temperature of any glass from 19°C to -40°C in just 10 seconds, maintaining a low temperature for a long time, allowing the restaurant guests to enjoy the wine at the perfect temperature.
Furthermore, they eliminate the bacteria present on the surface of the glasses that risk polluting the wine, guaranteeing a wine tasting of the highest level, healthy and free of bad odors or microbiotic loads.
